(0,-3),(2,-2)
slope = (-2 - (-3) / (2 - 0) = (-2 + 3) / 2 = 1/2

the y int is where ur line crosses the y axis....so it is -3

in y = mx + b form, the slope is in the m position and the y int is in the b position

y = mx + b
slope(m) = 1/2
y int (b) = -3
sub
y = 1/2x + (-3) which is written as y = 1/2x - 3 <==
