B would be the answer because Pastoral Poetry is mainly about idealized views of rustic life (AKA rual life).

I would say the correct answer is B. a poem that deals with rural life. Most of pastoral poems take place in the mythic land of Arcadia, with shepherds and nymphs and their love occurrences. They recreate the perceived Golden Age, when there were no iron tools, wars, and other sources of human misery. The first recorded pastoral poems were written by Theocritus in the 3rd century B.C. But they were also written in the Renaissance and afterward, up until the Industrial Revolution.
