Answer:

In the figure a semicircle is added to the rectangle and same semicircle is removed

So, Area will be the same as the required rectangle

=(16)(8)=128 square unit

128 square unit is the right answer.

The semicircle that was removed has the exact same area as the newly added semicircle.

Hence,

Area of Figure

= Area of Rectangle = (16)(8) = 128.
