Write the slope-intercept form of the equation of the line described:

-through (-5,-1), parallel to y=3
-through (3,4) parallel to y=x-3
-through (-3,0) parallel to y=5/3x

Looks as tho' you have four separate problems listed. Is that right?

Focusing only on the first one: -through (-5,-1), parallel to y=3

This is a HORIZONTAL line because y=3 is horizontal. This new line passes through (-5,-1), so y = -1 (answer)
