Sammie pays $30 for a bag that she buys at a discount of 50%. What is the price of the bag without the discount?

If paid $30 for a bag with the discount you would just time it by 2 (reverse what you did) And you would get 60. Sammie's bag would have been $60 without the discount. To check this you can do 60 divided by 2 (2 is half which is equivalent to 50%, which is half of 100) and you would get 30. I hope this helps/makes sense!
