27 feet = 9 yards
9 feet = 3 yards,so area is 9 times 3 = 27 square yards
Or...
27 * 9 = 243 square feet
9 square feet = 1 square yard
243 square feet = 27 square yards.

60 square feet.
15 times 12 is 180 divided by 3 is 60.
