Hi.

I put this into Wolfram Alpha and came back with 20.

4x - 3y = 20

4(20) - 3(20) = 20

80 - 60 = 20

Now we have James' age. Pete is two times James' age.
Pete appears to be 40!

I really hoped this helped.
