Divide 40 by 5, which is just 3 + 2.
You get 8.
Multiply 8 with 3.
8 * 3 = 24
That's the number of cranberry sauce cans.
Multiply 8 with 2.
8 * 2 = 16.
That's the number of pumpkin puree cans.
