Answer:

f^(-1)=4(x+2)

Explanation:

f(x)=(x)/(4) -2

To find inverse function , replace f(x) with y

y=(x)/(4) -2

Swap the variables x and y

x=(y)/(4) -2, nbw we solve for y

Add 2 on both sides

x+2=(y)/(4)

Now to eliminate 4, we multiply 4 on both sides

y=4(x+2)

Replace y with f^-1

f^(-1)=4(x+2)
