Suppose the number of organisms in one population in a community suddenly increases. Predict what might happen, and explain why.

There are many things can happen.
One: the species of increase here could die due to space, resources, and pray.
Two: of the species is a pray the predator species will increase in number.
Three: if the species, like humans are not prey. They may begin to find ways to live in other ways hence, natural selection. They may become cannibals

The organisms in that community would overthrow a smaller group of organisms on which they had been preying on. So there would be a overbalanced population of predators and less prey.
