2. When I Heard the Astromner by Whitman is a poem filled with romantic ideas because it shows people that they should enjoy natures beauty and power instead of try to destroy nature. For example the phrase, ""Look'd up to in perfect silence at the stars" shows how Whitman would rather look at the beauty of nature instead of hear the astromner talk about it.
3. This quotation is an example of romantic ideas about nature and how the speaker is wealthy because of all of the beauty around him. Thoreau believed that he was rich and wealthy because he could enjoy the beauty of nature. He used this wealthy be watching and looking at nature. He did not think school or the workshop was something he needed because he had all he needed from the nature around him.
