if we put ur equation in y = mx + b form, the slope will be in the m position and the y int will be in the b position

2x - y = -4...subtract 2x from both sides
-y = -2x - 4...multiply by -1
y = 2x + 4 <== this is ur slope intercept form

y = mx + b
y = 2x + 4....
the number in the m position (the slope) = 2 <==
the number in the b position (the y intercept) = 4 or (0,4) <==

to find the x int, sub in 0 for y and solve for x
2x - y = -4
2x - 0 = -4
2x = -4
x = -4/2
x = -2.....and ur x intercept is -2 or (-2,0) <==

so, to summarize :
slope intercept form : y = 2x + 4
slope = 2
y intercept : 4 or (0,4)
x intercept : -2 or (-2,0)
