6x+12y=24
-6x -6x
subtract -6x to both sides.
12y=-6x+24
divide by 12 to get rid of the 12 next to the y.
y=-6/12x+24/12
simply to the lowest term.
y=-1/2x+2
Answer:
y=-1/2x+2

6x+12y=24
12y = - 6x + 24
y = -1/2 x + 2
slope intercept form is y = -1/2 x + 2
