Why do you think the inuit have retained aspects of their early culture?

Because the arctic(or wherever they are) is not a well explored or inhabitable place so people have no use in changing their culture/adding new aspects of it.so i guess they have seen the that what their ancestors had done,had been done right and just had decided to keep those aspects.
