The genotype of an octopus is DD or Dd if an octopus of this species has long arms. DD genotype gene is defined as a linkage marker for an etiologic mutation at or neat the angiotensin-converting enzyme gene and has been associated with increased risk for the development of coronary artery disease. The genotype is DD or Dd.
