The y-intercept ocurrs at x=0. Then, by substituting x=0 in our equation, we get

0+2y=6

which gives

\begin{gathered} 2y=6 \\ y=(6)/(2) \\ y=3 \end{gathered}

then, the y-intercept point is (0,3).

Similarly, the x-intercept ocurrs at y=0. By substituting y=0 in our equation, we have

x+2(0)=6

which gives

x=6

so, the x-intercept point is (6,0).

Now, let's make the graph
