With the advancement of transportation routes, there has been an increase in immigration patterns. No longer is it only by boat or foot that immigrants can cross borders. There is not planes, trains, and vehicles to help them get into another country. There are roads, airports and railroad tracks in places where they did not used to be. The accessibility of transportation has increased the availability of immigration.
