a= 15 = 3+ .75c

b= 16 chocolate bars

Explanation:

15 = 3 + .75c

c= chocolate bars

to solve for the number of chocolate bars:

subtract three for the snowcone he bought= 12=.75c

then just divide by .75 = 16 = c=16
