President Truman considered terribly wrong expand military actions against China during Korean war, because the target was the communist country because of its desire to end freedom of the world; spreading the conflict could unleash third world war, but his reasons were beyond that, avoid the loss of lives of his soldiers and guarantee the security of his country were his main concern, at the time it was to place his country and the world needlessly in risk.
