So, if 12 roses cost $18.96 so 18.96 divided by 12=$1.58x5= $7.80

18.96 divided by 12 equals the price of 1 rose
price of 1 rose= 1.58
1.58 multiplied by 5= 7.9
the cost of 5 roses is $7.90
