List 10 excellent food sources (with high bioavailability) and 10 poor food sources each of zinc, iron, calcium, magnesium. (make some study cards for this question and really learn this! there are always nclex questions on food sources of nutrients.)

Excellent food sources
1) Ground Meat
2 ) Peas
3) Yogurt
4) Oysters (very best source)
5) Peppers
6) Kidney Beans
7) Spinach
8) Sardines
9) Almonds
10) Cheese

Poor food sources
1) Milk
2) pekoe teas
3) Salmon
4) Tofu
5) Sardines
6) Navy beans
7) Rhubarb
8) Sesame seeds
9) kale
10) Mustard greens

exellent food souces-
1-apples
2-food with high carbs ( like brown rice/wheat
3-bannanas
4-most pastries
5- foods made with cinnamon
6- foods with chayenne pepper

( thats all i know sorry)


bad food scources-

1- oranges are extrememlly low on zinc and iron
2- strawberries are low on magnesium and zinc
3- most [astries are low on iron
4- watermellon are low on calcium
5- nuts and seeds (such as peanuts and chia seeds) are almost always low on magnesium and calcium.
6-peaches depending on the type can be low on calcium and iron
7- most Fruit juices that contain less that 45% juice have low amounts of magnesium and zinc
8- foods with gluten have lower amounts of magnesium that foods that dont. ( again sorry thats all i know) hopefully i helped :)
