The cost of labor for servicing cars at B&B Automotive is $50 for each whole hour or for any fraction of an hour. There is a $25 additional charge to get the oil changed & fluid checked. What would be the cost of servicing a car that required 3.45 hours of labor if the owner requested that the oil be changed and the fluids be checked?

Since the cost of labor is $50 for each hour or fraction of an hour the 3.45 hours of labor becomes 4 hours because the 45 minutes is a fraction of an hour and that is $50 too.
Next you multiply $50 times 4 hours of labor and that is $200.
Then you add the additional cost for the fluids to be checked which is $25.
$200 plus 25 equals $225
