Days : 1 2 3 4 →→→→→→D(X axis)

Rent a Truck: 34 50 66 82→→→→→→R(Y axis)

As you can observe from number of Days and Amount to rent a truck , if you rent for a day the price being $ 34 and with increase in Day the rent increases by $ 16.

Plotting the point on graph , found that these points are collinear.

So, we can Represent this relation between days and Rent in equation of two variables representing a line.

Two point formula of line:

(y-y_(1))/(x-x_(1))=(y_(2)-y_(1))/(x_(2)-x_(1)) →→Equation of line passing through two points
(x_(1),y_(1)) and (x_(2),y_(2))

So , line representing Days and rent is :

(y-34)/(x-1)=(50-34)/(2-1)\\\\ y- 34 = 16(x-1)\\\\ y - 34 = 16 x - 16\\\\ 16 x - y + 18=0

So, the rule representing Days and Rent is: 16 D - R + 18=0
