PLEASE HELP ME WITH MY MATH!

Genesis has studied 3 hours for a big test she is going to take. Genesis would like to graph the line that represents the total number of hours she will have studied, H, after d days, given that she will study 0.5 hours each day. She would like the graph to show the number of hours studied for the next 2 weeks.

Select from the drop-down menus to correctly complete each statement.
To best show this information, the scale for the H-axis of her graph should go from 0 to at least BLANK1 and the d-axis of her graph should go from 0 to at least BLANK2

Blank1:
A. 0.5
B. 2
C. 3
D. 5
E. 10
F. 14

Blank2:

A. 3
B. 5
C. 10
D. 14
E. 17

Answer:

BLANK 1:

E. 10

BLANK 2:

D. 14

Explanation:

It is given that:

Genesis has studied 3 hours for a big test she is going to take.

she will study 0.5 hours each day.

She would like the graph to show the number of hours studied for the next 2 weeks.

This means that the total number of days for which graph is to be plotted is:

14 days.

( Since 1 week=7 days.

and 2 weeks=2×7=14 days)

Also, the number of hours she will study in 14 days are:

3+14×0.5

= 3+7

= 10 hours

Hence, the scale for the H-axis of her graph should go from 0 to at least 10 and the d-axis of her graph should go from 0 to at least 14

Time spent on study by Genesis Daily = 0.5 hours

Total number of Hours studied in two weeks = 14 × 0.5=
14 *(1)/(2) = 7 Hours

Time spent previously on study = 3 hours

H=Time Spent on Study in two weeks= 7+3= 10 hours

d = Total number of Days = 2 Weeks = 2 × 7 = 14 days

this information, the scale for the H-axis of her graph should go from 0 to at least 10 and the d-axis of her graph should go from 0 to at least 14.
