Kendra is choosing bouquets of flowers for table centerpieces. She decides to buy 40 bouquets for $120 because she thinks that price is a better value than 40 bouquets for $2.50 each. Explain Kendra’s error.

120/40=3

Explanation:

Each bouquet will cost Kendra 3 dollars. If she chooses to by 40, it would cost 120 dollars.

Therefore buying 40 bouquets for a product of 2.50 dollars each isn't as expensive.

40*2.50=100............And 120>100 so she buy more expensive flowers
