Ok so if you know how to use the pythagorean theorem then this should be pretty easy.

So basically all you need to do is square (²) 6 and 8 and then add up those numbers to find the value of x.
So 6² = 36
And 8² = 64
36 + 64 = 100
Now we need to find the square root of the bigger number.
So √100 = 10
The value of x is 10.
