(2* 8\frac34 + 2*12\frac12+2*29\frac18)\ \ in.


=(2*(35)/(4)+2*(25)/(2)+2*(233)/(8))\ in\\\\= ((35)/(2)+25+(233)/(4))\ in.\\\\=(403)/(4)\ in. =(403)/(4)*\frac1{12}\ feet \ \ \ \ [1 feet = 12 \ in.]\\\\\approx8.4\ feet
