The Glorious Revolution placed William and Mary on the throne of England. Jacob the 2nd fled to France and the Catholic rule of England ended once again. This also sparked the 9 years war between the french Jacobites and a coalition of mainly protestant countries such as The Netherlands, Scotland, England, The Holy Roman Empire, and Spain(Although Catholic).
