6v+5=8v+11 | Solve for v
6v=8v+6 | Subtract 5 from both sides
-2v=6 | Subtract 8 v from both sides
v=-3
| Divide both sides by -2

Hi there,
This is the original equation:
First, we need to subtract 5 from both sides;
Then, we subtract 8v from both sides;
Finally, divide both sides by -2;
Therefore, the answer to your problem is
v = -3
. Hope this helps and have a great day!
