y - 4= 3/4(x + 5)

y - 4= - (3/4)x - 15/4

y - 16/4= -(3/4)x - 15/4

y= - (3/4)x + 1/4

the answer is b

Answer:

y =
(-3x)/(4) +
(1)/(4).

Explanation:

Given : Graph of slope
(-3)/(4) and passes through the point (–5, 4).

To find : Which is the equation of the line.

Solution : we have given that point ( -5 ,4)

By equation of line (
y-y_(1)) = m (x -x_(1))

y - 4 =
(-3)/(4)( x +5).

y - 4 =
(-3x)/(4) +
(-15)/(4).

On adding 4 both sides we get,

y =
(-3x)/(4) +
(-15)/(4)+4.

y =
(-3x)/(4) +
(-15 +16)/(4).

y =
(-3x)/(4) +
(1)/(4).

Therefore, y =
(-3x)/(4) +
(1)/(4).
