I am having trouble figuring out this math problem. I have tried every equation that I can think of the problem states 6×-3=5×+7 then x

6x-3=5x+7 \\6x-5x=7+3 \\x=10

You would need to combine like terms to find your answer.
6x - 3 = 5x + 7

You would subtract 5x from both sides. Remember, x = 1x
x - 3 = 7

Lastly, you would add 3 to both sides.
x = 10
