Hello,

To set up the equation, you would do: 2x - 3 = x + 4.

Let's add 3 from the left side to the right, it would then be: 2x = x + 7.

We then want that "x" from the right side to be with the "2x", so we will subtract "x" from the right to cancel it out, and then we will subtract "x" to other side too.

After you do that, the equation should be: x=7. This is the final answer. Hope this helps!
