Mr. Laberie is getting business cards printed. The company that is printing the cards charges $25 to design the card and $0.02 per card printed. How many cards can he get printed if he has a budget of $50? Use proper form for this question. Set up an equation and make sure you define your variable(s).

b. Now, let’s solve. Subtract 25 from both sides to get 0.02c by itself and you get 0.02c = 25. Now, divide each side by 0.02 to isolate the “c”. When you do that, you get c = 1,250. There. Mr. Laberie can get 1,250 cards printed with a budget of $50.
