An easy way to graph a linear function is to sub in any two x-values into the equation and solve for the corresponding y-values, then connect the two points with a line. I can see in the pic that you've already marked the y-intercept at -2, so you only need one more point to draw a line. Since the coefficient of x is -5/4, picking a multiple of 4 as an x-value would result in a whole number value for y, making it easier to plot. For example, sub in x = 4 into the equation and solve.

y = -5/4 (4) - 2

y = -5 - 2

y = -7

Plot the points (4, -7) and the intercept (0, -2), then connect the points with a straight line
