In the diagram, the ratios of two pairs of corresponding sides are equal.

To prove that △LMN ~ △XYZ by the SAS similarity theorem, it also needs to be shown that

A.∠N ≅ ∠Z
B.∠N ≅ ∠X
C.∠L ≅ ∠Z
D.∠L ≅ ∠Y

In the diagram, the ratios of two pairs of corresponding sides are equal. To prove-example-1

Since you have two sets of side lengths that are in the same ratio, you need the included angles. The included angle of two sides is the angle formed by the two sides.
