In a standard binomial equation: ax² + bx + c = 0
To complete the square; divide the middle coefficient "b" in half and square it to find "c".
(-5/2)² = 25/4
x² - 5x + 25/4 = 25/4
completes the square:
(x - 5/2)² = 25/4
