The more correct question should be which of these should not... The Aveoli are small sacs where oxygen, Carbon Dioxide, and other gases diffuse and gas exchange takes place. Blood and Fluids can actually come into the Aveoli if it becomes stationary or pressure is too high.... In other words it is not normal and is only seen in life threatening disorders such as Pulmonary Embolism or Congestive Heart Failure.

Aveoli are the small sacks in the lungs, where gases such as oxygen and carbon dioxide are transferred into/out of the blood stream. Blood would be the answer, as blood is not transferred through alveoli; it stays in blood vessels and is oxygenated at the alveoli.
