The sale price is $39. you can use the proportion method and do 35 over 100 equal to x over 60. you cross multiply doing 35 times 60 then you take the product and divide it by 100. then you take that number and subtract it by the original price,$60

35% of 60 is 21.
So you subtract 21 from 60.
60 - 21 = 39
The football is being sold for $39.
