1) B you can divide both sides of the equation by 5 and it will be of the form y = kx which is direct variation

2) B f(x) + k is a vertical shift up k units

3) True Because parallel lines have the same slope and different y - intercepts they do not touch thus called inconsistent. Since they do not touch they will not have a solution.
