Why was James Oglethorpe important for Jewish settlement in Georgia during the Trustee Period?

He allowed Jews to stay at Georgia and the doctor Samuel Nunes was really helpful to colony when there was a yellow fever disease.So,James Oglethorpe wanted them to stay.
