Both B and E.
You use scientific notation when a number is too big or too small.
Too big:
-When you have a number like 658,000, you move the decimal to be after the first nonzero digit which is 6.58000.
-n=the number of spaces you move from the original decimal place. n is positive when the number is bigger than 1, n is negative when the number is smaller than 1.
-You moved the decimal 5 spaces, so n=5 (since 658,000 is positive, n is positive too.)
-So the scientific notation of 658,000 is 6.58 × 10^{5}
