Subtract 40 from both sides
-vp+40-40<95-40
Simplify
-vp<55
Multiply both sides by -1 (reverse the inequality)
(-vp) (-1) > 55 (-1)
Simplify
vp> -55
Divide both sides by v
vp ÷ v > -55
÷ v
Simplify
p> -55
÷ v
