How is starch made in a leaf ?

Starch is made in a leaf by the process of photosynthesis. A leaf absorbs the sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide by the chlorophyll located in it, then it turns that into a sugar, and then that sugar becomes a starch. Hope this helps.
