It is D. (2 x 10^-3) x (4 x 10^4) = 8 x 10^1

The answer would be the bottom right one. This is because first, we know that to get the 2 into the one's place to convert it into scientific notation, you move it 3 places which give us 10^-3. Then when multiplying you add the exponents and multiply the other number. -3+4=1 and 2x4=8
