Answer:

Explanation:

6x^2-17x+5

This can be written as

6x^2-15x-2x+5

Because -15-2=-17 and also (-15)(-2)=30

so now we have two pairs

(6x^2-15x)+(-2x+5)

Take out GCF from each pair

3x(2x-5)-1(2x-5)

since (2x-5) is now the common factor so final factored form

(3x-1)(2x-5)

6x² -17x +5 = (6x² - 2x) - (15x + 5) (factoring by grouping)

2x (3x -1) - 5(3x - 1)

(2x -5) (3x - 1) is your final answer

hope this helps
