What happens to the speed of molecules in water vapor when it condenses to form a liquid?

When water vapor condenses it changes from a gas to a liquid. During the condensation the speed of molecules is lower, which means that the molecules slow down and their attractions bring them closer together.
Also, making water vapor colder increases the rate of condensation. The rate of condensation depends on the temperature.
