revenue(what steve makes from selling shirts) are x shirts for $ 10
so ur 2 equations would be : y = 3x + 1500 and y = 10x

2. 3x + 1500 = 10x
1500 = 10x - 3x
1500 = 7x
1500/7 = 214.28....so he would have to sell 215 shirts.
