Trevor went to fill his car up with gas. It costs $2.95 per gallon of gas. Trevor also bought a car wash for $11.25. Trevor's total bill at the gas station was $52.55.

A) Write an equation that represents this situation.

B) How many gallons of gas did Trevor purchase at the gas station?

B. 18 gallons is the answer

$52.55 - $11.25 = $41.30

Trevor spent $41.30 dollars on gas and he bought 14 gallons
