bc and cd will be same as both are radius of the circle.


bc=cd=3


ac=ad+cd


ac=4+3


ac=7

as we know ab is tangent to the circle so, triangle abc will be a right triangle.

Using Pythagorean theorem


a^2+b^2=c^2


3^2+x^2=7^2


9+x^2=49

Subtracting 9 from both sides


x^2=49-9=40


x=√(40) =2√(10)

So, the answer is
2√(10) : answer
