A runner ran 30 miles in 150 minutes. If she runs at that speed, how long would it take her to run 6 miles? How far could she run in 15 minutes?

30/150=0.2 mil/min which means  6/0.2=30 mins , 15*0.2=3 miles

Dividing 150/30 tells us that the runner takes 5 minutes per mile (quite impressive!). It will take her 30 minutes to run 6 miles and she could run 3 miles in 15 minutes.
